Hi, I'm Karen.
Since beginning my work in the behavioral health field in 2013, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through a variety of life challenges in treatment centers, counseling centers, and private practice settings. My experience includes working with clients navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and personal growth.
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped not only by my professional experiences, but also by my own life experiences. Like many people who seek support, there was a time when I needed guidance, encouragement, and someone to help me navigate difficult moments. Those experiences continue to influence the compassion, understanding, and authenticity I bring to my work today.
I believe therapy should be a collaborative process. Together, we will identify meaningful goals, explore challenges, and create realistic steps toward lasting change. Sometimes that means starting small, building confidence, and celebrating progress along the way.
Above all, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brings you to therapy, and identifying what you hope to gain from the process.
I genuinely love the work I do and consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they move toward greater healing, insight, and fulfillment.
